I loves chocolate dip but to have it outside in a shopping mall can cost me a fortune, so mabe once a month or once every two months, I will prepare my own homemade chocolate dip with whatever fruits that I can get in the supermarket. Normally, strawberries and apples is a must! Do you know this two fruits when paired up with chocolate taste extremely well? Some other time, I do include pears, honeydew and pineapples but they did not blend that well with chocolate.
Jason named it as a 'Chocolate therapy day'. We will wake up a bit early to go to the supermarket to buy some fresh fruits. When we arrived home, I will heat up the chocolate with a bit of milk as chocolate will not melt 'properly' without milk. He will then store all the fruits in the freezer compartment to make it really cold. After the chocolate is ready, we have to chill it for half an hour as well. The whole process took about 2 hours. So two hours later.. the result is as seen in the photo... :)
Do you know that eating chocolate causes an endorphin rush? Maybe this is the explaination to the sudden confidence and satisfaction boost I felt at the end of the therapy...
