flashback#1 christmas celebration 2005!!

this was my 1st christmas celebration in my life..

in the past, christmas day was like some other day in my life..

i can work in my hosp or sleep in my room whole day..

i do not know how to appreciate the magic of that special day..

but somehow or rather,i felt it this year.. the magic in christmas!!!

1st: was the shopping

then: one of my very good fren, aaron came and celebrate with us

coincidently: i was given a day off during christmas eve eventhough i was scheduled to be workng that day (less patient thus i can have my day off!!!! have to thanks my nursing manager for 'releasing' me that day :-p )

on christmas eve:

1st was the sightseeing with aaron, since he was new to sgp, need to show him around... not that i am very good in directions but luckily dear dear was free to bring us around.. hahahah...

then was the buffet dinner. had a sumptous dinner in doby ghout. errmm.. dinner was quite ok but it was the company that count. had a wonderful time talking and joking while enjoying different variaty of food :)

after that: was the most unforgetable event that marked my 1st christmas celebration!!!

we went to ochard road for a walk as there was christmas light up along the road..

as we walked a long the road, we saw a group of people eagerly q-ing up for something. being the kpc in the group, i asked them what was it all about...

ok! i got the answer, they r q-ing for the christmas light-up hippo bus tour ( hipo bus=double storey topless bus )

after much hesitation and dicussion, we decided to join them eventhough it cost a bit... but let me say that it was really a very unforgetable experiance :)

happy and contented. we was on the 'topless' bus for about 45 minutes.. we waved to the people on the street as thou we were ms and mr universe.. hahah.. from the top, we can really see the light up and the amount of people on the street..

the best thing was, other passenger bought foam spray and they was spraying like mad.. eventhough we did not join them , but the wind direction did not side us then, sometimes, the foam 'kena' us as well.. it was ok.. we dun mind cos christmas have to be like that ma..

hahah. after the tour, we went back instead of countdown, we did not want to stuck in the MRT cos the people jam was unbelievable... furthermore, i need to be on duty on the next day.. i do not mind cos i had celebrated my 1ST christmas ler.. in the future, i must learn how to enjoy christmas..
