a fren of mine called me in the middle of my night duty today..
something apparently have been bothering her, i can feel
well, b4 she even called,
she politely asked me whether i am asleep or not or wat duty am i doing..
being frank, i told her i am doing my night duty
now having my supper break..
i ask her to called since she sound so urgent and troubled
she shared with me tearfully her troubles which have been preventing her from falling asleep for the last few nights
after listening to her story,
i rationally explained to her that she do not have to worry much because she have lots of people by her side to support her
i emphasized that they are all very powerful people
she do not have to be in distress simply because she will have a lot of practices before the actual day
she do not have to fret as the REAL day might not be coming after all
to make things as wat she is thinking now needs two party and if the other party back off...
that is the end of the story anyway..
talking to her for almost 35mins,
she finally sound a bit better
less worried and verbally less stressful
she told me
"is an amazing feeling of relief after talking to you!
i have sleepless nights, trying to figure out what will happen to me,
almost every minute, i am worrying about the future obstacles regarding this matter
but i think tonight,
i will be able to sleep better..
having somebody to talk to is really great...
thanks for listening"
i told her "well, what are frens for anyway?
:)
good night and rest well k..
if u think u still miss my sweet honey-coated voice..
can still call me tomorrow...
haha"
with this, we end our conversation
hanging up the phone,
i have the highest sense of satisfaction.
being able to be there for her..
is something that i would love and be ready to do
what are frens for right??
but thinking about the situation again,
if i were in her situation,
i will be worrying like crazy, fidgety and crying like a coward facing the death penalty
sometimes,
things can be very funny
we tend to be able to think rationally outside the circle
but once we are involved,
we are normally too overwhelm with changes that are happening around us than to be alert or to be able to think straight..
so , if anything do happens,
the best things is to seek for somebody outside the circle to give a different perspectives on the situation
it really does help sometimes...
